With views all across the fields and valleys towards Snowdonia and the North Wales coast, this smart cottage is a former milking shed reimagined. Modern and luxurious, it combines a peaceful, countryside setting with up-to-the-minute styling and plenty of modern comforts.

Owned by the same farming family for five generations, the open-plan living space now features herringbone flooring, a contemporary log burner for cosy evenings no matter the season and a handbuilt kitchen with everything you'll need. Two bedrooms and two fabulous bathrooms make it as perfect for friends sharing as it is for small families, and we particularly love the huge rain shower in the en-suite.

Step outside and you'll have your own fully-enclosed garden with a picnic table for summer barbecues, and it's just a short drive to the nearest beaches. And look out for the extra special welcome hamper at this home because the owners run a successful bakery from the farm.

*This home is laid out over two floors with internal stairs between them – both bedrooms are located on the upper floor
*If you're bringing a dog, please bring your own dog bed and don't allow your furry friend upstairs
*A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request – please bring your own cot bedding
*There's no desk, but the dining table can double up as a laptop-friendly workspace if needed
*You'll receive a welcome containing tea, locally roasted coffee, milk, sugar and local produce including baked goods from the farm's bakery
