Nestled in the grounds of a country house, you'll find this cute cottage. With five acres of garden to explore, it feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday live – we reckon you'll settle in within no time at all.

There are plenty of traditional touches to admire throughout the home, from the oak beams to the rustic stone walls. On wintery evenings, you can throw a log on the fire and get cosy with a glass of wine and a good book. However, if you're visiting during the summer months, we think you'll want to spend most of your time making the most of the fabulous outside space. Take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool when the sun is shining, then stretch out in the hammock to dry off. And, when hunger strikes, you can use the outdoor kitchen to whip up a delicious meal hot off the grill.

The upmarket town of Cowbridge is within walking distance, where you'll find a good selection of local restaurants and pubs to sample. If you fancy a day at the beach, then you can easily drive down to the coast to explore Dunraven Bay and Nash Point Lighthouse. And, if you head inland instead, you'll find some wonderful scenery for walking and cycling.
