Roadside parking can be found outside. Tyee Cottage is a lovely break for a family, whatever time of year.

The village of Burton-in-Kendal is set in glorious countryside and is ideally positioned for touring Southern Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and the peaceful Forest of Bowland. The village is home to a small number of amenities, including a Post Office/general store, a butcher and a pub that serves good food. The nearby town of Kirkby Lonsdale is the gateway to the Lake District and offers much to see and do.
