Catching our eye with its colourful living area and alfresco terrace, we think this Cardiff flat in hip Pontcanna is perfect for two style-conscious couples here to explore. The living space has plenty of space for everyone, and if the alfresco dining is out of bounds due to drizzle the bar can squeeze everyone around it for indoor dining. While the bedrooms are on the smaller side – the second requires one guest to climb over the bed to reach their side – they are cosy spots to rest after a day exploring the nearby art centres and eateries. The closest are only five minute's walk away, while the city centre is only fifteen.
Home truths: *The bedrooms are quite small with limited storage space. However, they have everything you need for a comfortable night's sleep. Also, the second bedroom is almost against a wall on one side and at its foot. Guests will need to climb over the other side to reach it.
*Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. Light sleepers might want to pack earplugs.
*There is no dining table here, although there are four stools around the kitchen bar.
*If you're travelling for work, you'll find a desk in one of the bedrooms here.
