Sligo, Ireland's largest town, is surrounded by Benbulben Mountain, Knocknarea Hill, coastal beaches, and lush greenery. The town itself has many shops, restaurants, and bars singing traditional Irish music. You can go to the races and pick the winning horse, play golf, ride horses on the beach, or relax with a spot of fishing. Visit the Yeats Memorial Building, the Model Contemporary Centre, and the Hawk's Well Theatre, one of the country's oldest regional theatres.
