Built in the 1890s as a semi-detached cottage for farm workers from Jordon Farm, this home still has all of the architectural charm of the era, modernised by the updated kitchen and bathroom. Bold colour choices, a mix of modern and more antiquated furniture, and baroque pattern on the sofa all add character to this home, but perhaps more importantly, it creates a very welcoming environment for you to do as much or as little as you please. Engross yourself in a whodunnit as you relax back into the sofa, or spend evenings crafting together. Exchange laughs and stories of the day's adventures over fresh fish and chips – there are two shops to choose from, reachable by car in under two minutes.

Days can be spent exploring the Jurassic coast and the sandy beaches on offer. Travel to the SEA LIFE centre – something kids are guaranteed to enjoy – or visit Nothe Fort where you can get a 360-degree view of Dorset, and whatever you can spot beyond that.
