Surrounded by the beauty of Snowdonia National Park, this peaceful cottage is the ultimate place to recharge with nature. With its own tranquil gardens, you can wake up and admire the stunning mountainous views while you sip your morning coffee and listen to the birds sing. Inside, wide windows let in panoramic countryside vistas to nearly every room in the house. There’s loads of room in the dine-in kitchen to bustle around making breakfast, while the lounge is home to a cosy electric wood burner and plush leather sofas. Later, after the sun sets, challenge the group to a game of pool or darts in the converted garage. When you’re ready to explore, head to the nearby market town of Bala to peruse the boutique shops, friendly pubs and delicious eateries. Then head to Bala Lake, Wales' largest natural body of water, and hop on a boat. Of course, there’s always whitewater rafting or exploring Ffynnon Bueno Cave if you want something a little more adrenaline-fuelled.
