Just three minutes on foot from the park, you’ve pretty much got these fifty-four acres as an extended back garden when staying in this fabulous house. In any case, you do already have your own private walled garden and top-floor terrace. Sunny mornings in West London would be best spent here with an iced coffee on the sun loungers, and balmy evenings on the patio with a tumbler of whisky after a barbecue. As for the inside, this cosy home has a neutral palette of calming colours – with pistachio walls and pale-wood parquet flooring, sophistication comes as standard. The furniture is a mixture of antique and modern design, but if you want to see more on this, you’re just a twelve-minute walk from the Design Museum. We highly recommend stopping in for brunch and cocktails at one of Kensington’s many cafés and dining spots en route.
