You enter this historic home through the cobblestoned cart shed, which sets the scene for a rustic escape to the Cotswolds. Shire Horse is one half of what was originally stone-working building. It’s been restored to keep its historical flare, but with the modern appliances and luxuries necessary for a relaxing visit. Nestled into the picturesque village of Minchinhampton, there are plenty of beautiful walks, delightful shops and cafes, and cosy pubs to explore in the immediate vicinity. And be sure to pack comfortable shoes, the area surrounding this village are well-worth exploring on foot in order to appreciate the wonderful views.
