Between the traditional, old-world Paris of Le Marais, and fantastically modern buildings like the Centre Pompidou, the 4th arrondissement is truly diverse. And five minutes from this aforementioned architectural marvel, this flat offers a stylish yet relaxing base in the city. In your living space, the decor works in perfect harmony. Woven placemats on the dining table match the woven wicker chair and knitted footstool. The pistachio-coloured sofa chimes beautifully with the leafy green view from the French windows. We recommend opening these up and stepping out to your wrought-iron balcony – there’s a cute wooden dining set that's an ideal perch for some nibbles and a glass of sauvignon blanc. After descending from here, Étienne Marcel metro station is just two minutes away, an easy stroll to access the entirety of the city. You can even walk to the Mona Lisa, as the Louvre is just over fifteen minutes on foot. From here, we recommend following the Seine along past Île de la Cité and heading home via Le Marais. With so many cocktail bars and cafés scattered throughout these cobbled, colourful streets, an extra eight-minute walk is well worth your time.
