Seascape has one of the best views of the Moray Firth.. The cottage was brilliant and a plus having 2 bathrooms. Well equipped and comfy. Loads of DVDs, books and games but we just sat in the sun room enjoying the views. Would highly recommend

A lovely cottage in a fantastic location with amazing sea views surrounded by lovely beaches and coastline.. Superb! The only slight negative was that the double bed wasn’t very comfortable but as a couple we could move to the twin beds which were fine.

This was quite simply the best cottage we have ever stayed in.. Warm and incredibly comfortable with everything you could possibly need supplied. Lots of space to relax in, fantastic view of the sea, great location for walks and a friendly pub and fab chip shop two minutes from the door. What more could you ask for?

We also own Holiday Cottages and hope that our guests leave our properties as happy as we left Seascape.. The cottage is just what we wanted! It was exceptionally clean and cozy with brilliant sea views. The village has just enough, a small grocers, 2 public houses and a brilliant Fish & Chip shop. There are some beautiful walks straight from the cottage door. Portknockie is ideally suited for touring the north east coast and just over one hours drive to Inverness and Aberdeen. The best recommendation is that we booked it again before leaving!

Seascape is situated near the coastal path at Portknockie, ideal for lovely walks on the coastal path & on the beach at Cullen.. The sun room is fabulously relaxing, & the cottage is exceptionally well equipped & super cosy.

A very comfortable well equipped cottage but it is the sun room that made the house for us.. Comfortable sofas and a view of the Moray Firth you will never tire of watching.

Having the wonderful sea view and getting to see dolphins almost every day was a great bonus to our holiday.. Portknochie proved to be a good location for visiting places either in the car or on foot. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday at this lovely old fisherman's cottage. Shame there was no tumble dryer, but we were lucky in having very little rain during our week and an extendable washing line was provided (once you worked out how to use it). The sofas and beds could do with being a bit harder though. Being a back pain sufferer I found both the sofas and the single bed I used caused me some discomfort.

We loved our stay in Seascape- the view from the comfortable sun room was fantastic. It was so clean and well laid out. I recommend it without reservation.

August 2018
The cottage was much bigger than we thought it would be, very clean and very well equipped.. It was in an ideal position, just across the road from the sea, with cafe, fish and chip shop and pub/restaurant in the village. Unfortunately, the shop/post office wasn’t open much as it is in the process of been sold, but there were shops 10 mins drive away in next villages. People in the village were very friendly and it was very pretty (when the sun was out!).

The view from the cottage over the Moray Firth is fantastic and yes Dolphins do really pass by..

I highly recommend Seascape for a holiday.. It’s in a fantastic spot- the view from the sun lounge is amazing. Very well equipped and so peaceful. Saw deer, dolphins, seals and it’s a bird watchers paradise. Only downside are the stairs which are not easy for anyone with walking difficulties. Otherwise perfect

Seascape in Portknockie is a delightful house with a sunroom which we practically lived in.. From there, you could just sit and watch the fishing boats, the occasional dolphin, the sea, the Portknockie rocks, the occasional dog-walker and the most beautiful sunsets. The house itself is very well equipped and is very nicely decorated.
Mrs Collins

July 2018
SEASCAPE was more than we expected the views were amazing from the sun lounge, with stunning walks close by, via the old railway line to Cullen and Findochty and further if you wanted longer walks.. The fish and chip shop in Portknockie is the best we have ever had. There was everything in the cottage you could wish for. The people in the village and neighbouring villages were very friendly and helpful. Spey bay is a short drive away with stunning walks as well. It's an amazing place we loved it. I have got to mention the homemade ice cream in Cullen it was delicious and the staff really welcoming. Castle Gordon is also worth a visit to their walled garden they were lovely and it was lovely to see the owners of the castle helping out in the gardens and getting stuck in and chatting to visitors about their vision for their project, the cafe was lovely as well. A beautiful place with plenty to do and see.

Seascape has the most fantastic location. It has uninterrupted view of the Moray Firth and is quiet and peaceful. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need to start off your stay. We thought it was a lovely touch to have milk in the fridge and a loaf of bread along with some tea and coffee and not to forget the biscuits. We will defiantly be back and would highly recommend Seascape to everyone

June 2018
We had a fantastic week in the beautiful seascape holiday cottage, there was a few groceries left for us, milk bread etc, the cottage itself was a beautiful welcoming home , which you can tell is very well looked after.. the sun room has to be the star of the show offering outstanding views with just a footpath between the cottage and the views. portnockie itself is a very friendly village, everyone was welcoming and we felt safe walking when out and about with our wee dog, the village is very clean and well kept, the local chippy in the village is very good, as is the local chemist, bigger shops are only a few miles away in nearer towns. we will definitely be booking again!

We rented the cottage for our daughter and family who were visiting from Japan.. They found it to be cosy, comfortable and very well equipped, with plenty of things for the children to do when it was too cold and wet to go out. Location is ideal, overlooking the cliffs ans beach. We would definitely recommend the cottage - also the owners were friendly and helpful regarding key collection and general information. Highly recommended!
