Feel free to follow the public footpaths that pass right by the cottage and explore your surroundings at a sedate pace, or hire a mountain bike and challenge yourself to some of the most taxing off-road trails Exmoor has to offer. For a change of scenery, some of North Devon's most stunning beaches are approximately half an hour away, where you can surf, sea kayak and coasteer to your heart's content.
