Find your sea legs by hopping on a boat to Coquet Island, embarking from the harbour, and head a mile off coast to see a huge colony of seals and over thousands of nesting birds. Spend the rest of your time trying out sailing, canoeing, or kayaking, and if you're a fishing enthusiast, you’re encouraged to throw a line out at Amble North Pier.

Back home, the shaker style kitchen is waiting for your recipes, but the counter is just as great for unwrapping takeaway fish and chips that you can enjoy under the statement lights at the dining table.
