We felt confident that the bungalow was clean and Covid secure.. A minor point whch had us baffled for a while was the instructions for the key safe state to press "open" when in fact it needs to be pushed upwards. Also recycling collection instructions were for 2019 and say Tuesday. Luckily we realised neighbours bins were out on Wednesday..

Enjoyed a week at this bungalow Really well equiped and comfortable.. Great for local walks and easy to get to Tenby and other places. We would be happy to stay there again but was booked for the dates we wanted later this year.

The cottage was lovely, the garden was a lot nicer than it looks on Sykes website .... The cottage was lovely, the garden was a lot nicer than it looks on Sykes website Very nice clean , Plenty utensils A dish washer would make it perfect One thing that spoiled it for us ,was a neighbour with a dog that left a calling card on the foot path near to the drive or were you would access the car , That is FYI and by no means a minus for the cottage It was a very quiet place to stay and a good position to visit Tenby Saundersfoot , and other places

Excellent bungalow.. Home from home, only thing missing was a freezer, took food with me and struggled to keep it fresh. But everything else was brilliant. So comfortable. Throughly recommend. Close to so many beaches. Will most certainly stay there again.

This was a return visit so I knew what to expect.. It is so good to see that owners use some of their income to carry out improvements where needed. The bungalow is in a very quiet area with free car park for the beach only 2 mins by car and the walk to the beach from car park is about 8 minutes. Lovely big beach too and dogs allowed as they are on most Pembrokeshire beaches. Lots of beautiful areas within easy access. The bungalow is exceptionally clean and very freshly decorated with subtle colours. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is a good size and super shower. It was very pleasing to find that the central heating was still on as this week the weather turned back to being cold, windy and wet. Needed the radiators to dry out clothes.

Could quite happily live there.. Only reason we haven't been back for a third time is because it's booked!

The property has all the comforts of home and is well placed for beach, coastal walks and other attractions such as Stackpole..

Rowan is a great place to relax, but if you are into walking the coast path is only ten minutes away.. We were pleased to find the rear garden very secure and ideal for our miniature poodle to have a morning and late evening romp. The garden is only small and may be less exciting for large dogs, but just what we wanted. The owner lives nearby and is very friendly and accommodating. We noted that several earlier reviews mention the lack of a washing line, but we were pleased to hear that a rotary line has been purchased and will be installed at the end of this season. We are definitely going to return and are already planning our booking.

Lovely holiday in a warm and comfortable bungalow with a secure garden for our dog.. A washing machine was a bonus as it means we take less dirty clothes home and makes less to do when we return home. Close to the beach so our dog got to run around off the lead twice a day. Very close to Tenby and Saundersfoot and ideally placed for day trips to St David etc.

The building that was going on at the back of Rowan was a bit of a problem and could go on all summer

Only thing missing was a mop and bucket for general cleanliness of the kitchen floor and a washing line.. There was a washing machine, small portable airer but no line.

Penally is an ideal location to travel around the south west of Wales.. A lot a places were closed (quad biking) as we went out of season. This Is along with some of the pubs stopping serving food earlier than advertised (The Smugglers in Amroth). Other than that Tenby is a delightful town with fantastic beaches that we found clean and tidy.

The property was a lovely, comfortable and clean bungalow.. We had a very relaxing week with great weather and superb dog friendly beaches nearby. The only thing we would like to mention is that there does not appear to be a washing line at the property which would have been useful. Very many thanks :-)

The cottage is beautiful and set in an ideal location. It is decorated and furnished to a beautiful standard, we couldn't have asked for more. We happened to meet the owners and they too are lovely, they couldn't be more helpful.

July 2016
The accommodation was finished to a high standard and had everything we needed. The garden was lovely, all enclosed, very safe for our dog, and again well finished with garden furniture. It is in a nice quiet area, a 10 minute walk to the beach and then 20 minutes walking the dog to Tenby, great exercise. Tenby town was filled with pubs and lots of eating opportunities, and plenty of walking for the dog.

The cottage was very comfortable. It had been very recently redecorated and everything was new and of good quality. The shower was wonderful, very easy to use and was hot without having to wait. The garden was lovely with an outdoor patio and garden furniture. It was in a great location for visiting all of the beautiful beaches nearby and is very close to the coastal path. Pembrokeshire is a beautiful part of the world.
