The cottage is very well appointed and in a great location with really friendly and helpful owners

Had a lovely week in Strathpeffer.. Rose Cottage is nicely situated with a five minute walk to the centre of the village, and a nice, if hilly, walk behind the cottage, leading around the golf course. The cottage is small but has three bedrooms, plenty for up to four people. Headroom is a bit limited in the main bedroom, but it added to its quaintness. There isn't any outside space to sit but with the Scottish highlands and beaches within a short driving distance, there was plenty of opportunity to get outdoors.

A very lovely cottage in a beautiful, historic village.. A lovely welcoming note from the owner with a gift of shortbread. The accommodation was clean, well maintained, comfortable and had all the mod cons to make it a very enjoyable stay. Close to local amenities and for a drive out to places of interest in the surrounding countryside.

Contacted the owner about time to leave the property.. She was very helpful. Also appreciated that she had written a brief history of the cottage and her family connections.

This was a very well appointed cottage, everything you could possible want to make you feel it was a home from home.. Loads of hot water and effective heating if required. Spotlessly clean and the little box of shortbread was much appreciated. Lots of local information supplied, and a potted history of the cottage was fascinating. We would definite want to come back.
