This home is a total rarity. It has all the pomp and grandeur of a stately home, yet with plenty of cosy details, invites pure rest and relaxation. Step into the oak-panelled entrance hall with its twinkling chandelier and you know you’re somewhere special. The living room is like something out of a Jane Austen novel, with its Regency-style curtains, grand fireplace, and antique gilded mirrors. There’s a further drawing room and a formal dining room for lavish banquets. The farmhouse-style kitchen is well equipped for cooking up feasts – we love the bottle green AGA which acts as a hearth throughout the winter.

Each bedroom upstairs is bursting with character, with the main bedroom boasting expansive windows overlooking the rolling green countryside. The house is surrounded by expansive manicured gardens and breathtaking scenery beyond. Head to the historic lookout tower and its stone patio to admire panoramic views of the mountains on one side, and Cardigan Bay on the other. From here you are well placed to explore the beauty of the surrounding area. A variety of beaches on the coastline can be reached in five minutes by car. The waters around Pwllheli are renowned for world-class sailing and are well suited to a range of other water sports like kayaking and windsurfing. Quaint local cafes, galleries and shops line the streets of Pwllheli, which is less than a mile from the house.
