It's surrounded by open farmland and countryside, so you can pop out for an afternoon stroll, before settling down for the night. Kick off your walking boots, brush off the leaves, and curl up on a chilly winter's eve with a good book – just remember to keep stoking that crackling fire. Upstairs, two comfy bedrooms benefit from original stone walls, sloped ceilings and rural views out of the small cabin-hole windows. With a writing desk area and two en-suite bathrooms, they offer four guests all of the home comforts needed for a long term stay. And of course, this country home is in close proximity to the Brecon Beacons (less than a twenty-minute drive) for keen hikers, while the market town of Brecon is an eight-minute drive from your door. Filled with pubs, restaurants and canals, it's the perfect spot for languorous afternoons out and about.
