Uig is an absolute dream for walkers – there's a myriad of trails and routes to suit all different levels, ranging from leisurely strolls around the village to treks across the Trotternish Ridge. Castle Ewen (six-minute drive), The Fairy Glen (eight minutes by car) and the Rha Waterfalls (walkable in twenty) are all must-visits, but for a slower pace, why not relax with a local ale at The Isle Of Skye Brewing Company (ten minutes on foot), which overlooks the sea.
