Inside, there are nods to Whitby's maritime history all around this home, from the boat oar displayed over the fireplace to the artwork of donkeys on the beach.

Stroll through Whitby's picturesque streets – it's just a one-minute walk to iconic Flowergate – one of Whitby's oldest and most historic thoroughfares. The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a short five-minute saunter, or climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary under a ten-minute amble. Of course, you must visit the ruins of Whitby Abbey (twelve minutes on foot) while you're here, too, impressively towering over the coastal town.
