Location is everything – that's why we're drawn to this pocket-sized apartment in Nice's picturesque Old Town. Nestled between the Promenade des Anglais and Place Masséna, you're a short walk from restaurants, boutiques and the sandy beach. Since it's set on the first floor, you'll need to climb stairs, and with two guests sleeping on the sofa bed, the space will be cramped. We think it's better for a couple – or a solo traveller in town on business, since the desk allows for remote working. Although noise from the downstairs bar could be a concern, we think it'll do for those planning to spend their days exploring.
Home truths: *This apartment is on the first floor with no lift – it can be tricky to manage with luggage, so we suggest packing light
*The bar on the ground floor can get lively, so noise is to be expected – light sleepers will want to pack earplugs
*Two guests will sleep on the sofa bed, but it will be a squeeze – we think this apartment is better suited to two guests
*The main bedroom is also on the smaller side
*There's a dedicated workspace in the living area if you plan to work from home
*The entrance to this building is shared with other residents
*We think the kitchen is better suited to lighter bites than large meals
*Parking isn't provided, but a car isn't necessary in Nice – there's a tram stop a three-minute walk away
