We adore this apartment in Paris – it’s a fabulous find. Perched on the banks of the Seine with incredible panoramic views of the city from the spacious, south-facing terrace – this modern home is perfect for sun worshippers. Take in the vistas of the Montparnasse Tower while having a glass of wine. After a busy day, relax on the sofa or your bed, you’ll see the wonderful panorama from both. If you can’t bear to leave this contemporary retreat, then cook up a Parisian feast in the kitchen to enjoy at the dining table or dine alfresco and watch the lights of Paris twinkle as dusk turns to night. If you do want to explore this tranquil, family-friendly locale, then head to Île Saint-Germain Park – it’s just over a five-minute stroll. You’ll find beautiful meadows and themed gardens, while kids will love the playgrounds and pony rides here. Or, art lovers can admire renowned artist Jean Dubuffet’s Tour aux Figures sculpture, rising majestically through the canopy of trees. For thrill-seekers, Aquaboulevard water park, Europe’s biggest, is a twenty-minute walk away, or if you are working in this sought-after business district – a 10-minute tram journey will take you to Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre. One of the area’s most iconic attractions, the Eiffel Tower, is a fifteen-minute ride, while it's under thirty minutes on the RER line to Versailles.
