Set right in the heart of The Mumbles and just a two-minute walk from the promenade, this fabulous little home is a cosy character cottage with a tasteful blend of vintage and Skandi furniture. As comfortable as it is stylish, it's a perfectly charming place to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy coastal village living. Right from its vintage front door, to its wood floors, white walls and log burner, it ticks all the boxes for a traditional home, while the modern kitchen with its cheerful yellow tiles brings a touch of fun. We love the classic look of the bathroom, which boasts both a bath and a walk-in shower. Outside, there's a private nook of a patio – well sheltered from the wind – and steps up to a lawned garden with a barbecue and dining table. On a little lane just off Mumbles Road, there's a great choice of eateries within a short walk of the home. A little further afield you'll find the famous Mumbles Pier and a number of golf clubs. From here, The Gower peninsula is yours for the exploring, with nothing more than a forty-minute drive away – including the beautiful beaches at Rhossili Bay, Oxwich Bay and Caswell Bay.

*There's no allocated parking so you may have to explore the surrounding roads – it's usually easy to find street parking a short walk away (the hosts will provide you with some suggestions)
*The home is in a small lane and there's a popular fish and chip shop on the corner – there may occasionally be some litter outside but the hosts do their best to remove it straight away
*There are steps up to the main garden and some stairs in the house that small children may find a little deeper than normal
*House-trained dogs are welcome but the host asks for them to be kept downstairs and off the furniture
*The master bedroom can be arranged with a double bed or two singles
