Stunning Llangenith Bay is situated just a short walk from this charming cottage. The home has a wonderful setting in a quiet area, just off a lane. The nearby village of Llangennith has a lovely pub, and if you love beaches, well, Llangetith has a beautiful sandy beach. It stretches for 3.5 miles and incorporates the award-winning Rhossili Bay, which has been voted in the top ten best beaches in the world. If you’re bringing your dogs with you, you’ll be glad to know that the long sandy beach is open to dog walkers all year. Do some beachcombing or hike the Gower Coast Path and admire the golden sands, dramatic cliffs, salt marshes and dunes. If you fancy a bit of surfing, you’ve come to the right spot (there are local surfing schools here too).

Packed with traditional features such as exposed wood beam rafters and matching wooden flooring, this cottage has the added benefit of a coal fire, ideal for when the Welsh mists roll in. We love the rural views from the living room, and the garden is a delight – let the kids play on the lawn or enjoy a glass of wine as the sun fades, then do a bit of stargazing. Later, have a long luxurious soak in the roll-top bath – what a wonderful way to end a perfect day.
