To the outside is off-road parking for four cars. Located in a desirable setting with plenty to explore in and around the area, Mc's Cottage is a wonderful retreat in an excellent part of Ireland. Mc's cottage is a rural scenic experience ideal for walkers and their dogs, although children are welcome please note that due to it's location, the property is more suited for those wanting a relaxing time away.

The town of Ballymote offers shops, pubs and restaurants, a park and railway station. The county town of Sligo is within driving distance and is well worth a visit. Sligo boasts historic monuments and buildings and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants. County Sligo has beaches, golf and fishing to be enjoyed in your downtime. The village is also home to the Ballymote Castle, which dates from 1300.

The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
