I think more emphasis should be put on the fact that Llewellyn Lodge is definitely not suitable for anyone with a disability.. The steps up to the property are very steep. The wi- fi was not available.

Llewelyn Lodge is the perfect place to stay in Aberystwyth.. The lodge is very pretty situated in a lovely garden, the views are stunning. The lodge is located a short and pleasant walk from the town centre, beaches and university. There is parking on the premises and two lovely country pubs are situated across the road. The lodge has everything you need in terms of self-catering, and it is spacious and has all the necessary creature comforts. The hosts Keith and Sally are really welcoming and if we return to Aberystwyth this would definitely be our first choice as a base.

There is absolutely no mention that this property is not suitable for elderly/disabled people.. The photos show no sign of the steps needed to access the property. There are 8 whichever way you go. Thankfully the owner was there to help get our luggage to the cottage. So this cottage has been misrepresented. As for sitting on the veranda and looking at the views---you can just see a hill and the church spire; again you have embellished the reality. There was no running hot water in the kitchen; we were told to boil a kettle for washing-up! Two days before we left, the owners went away for a week so the next visitors would have the same problem. Shower temperature was temperamental. 4 Star? no, --a good 3 Star.

The owners of Llewellyn Lodge were very friendly and helpful, and recommended several places for us to visit during our stay.. It is a lovely area and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
