Nice extended weekend: Stayed in Kinvara for an extended nded weekend. The house lies in a nice calm spot. Enough sleeping space for 5 people is provided for. Only 2 bathrooms though. Furniture is rather retro but was absolutely sufficient for our needs. Contact to host Kathy was nice and uncomplicated as well as all admin bits. Overall worth recommending for a group up to 5 people.

Perfect location, as it is quiet away from the main road but still a very short stroll into town. Shop and pubs just around the corner. The house was clean and had very comfortable bedrooms. As well it was very well equipped with kitchen utensils, so preparing your own breakfasts and dinnners was no problem. The manager of that house (Kathy) was very flexible when we had to change the dates we booked the house for, as all our flights were canceled due to a snowstorm. All in all it was a great place to stay.

We had a lovely stay. Charming house in a great central location. We'll be back! Thank you for clear directions and for having such a well equipped and thoughtfully prepared home. It was just lovely Kathy and for the little touches. Best wishes, B & R

EXQUISITE. The cottage and location could not have been more perfect. The host, Kathy, was incredibly helpful before and during our visit. The cottage is very cozy and comfortable, in a beautiful quiet location close to the lovely village of Kinvara.

"Great location" Stayed here for 2 weeks end of August 2016. Pluses are the location as walking distance to nearby shops, pubs, restaurants and local church. Some lovely pubs with live music - we especially enjoyed the food at The Pier Head which we visited on a few occasions, including my 50th birthday and they made a wonderful cake! Only a short drive to Tracht Beach also where we had some lovely walks and my dog loved the freedom there. Lovely drives to the nearby Burren and surrounding areas. Deceptively spacious house, looks small but lots of room inside. Quiet location. Negatives are the road to enter the house - lots of potholes. We did have a problem with the toilet flush on the ground floor but contacted the owner and she was able to get it all fixed for us the following day which was good.

"Suited us perfectly" Kathy was easy to contact. We were very happy with the house, it is at the top of the town, a couple of minutes walk brings you back into Kinvara. We used the house as a base while visiting friends for a weekend. It was clean, all machines that we used, worked. Bedrooms are lovely size considering the compactness of the house. When we visit our friends again later in the year we will be hoping the house is available.

"Cozy and Comfortable home base for exploring Western Ireland". Our family stayed for one month in October, 2015. This five bedroom home is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to downtown Kinvarra. It is close to conveniences but far enough away for peace and quiet and beautiful views of the Irish countryside. The owners are very professional, friendly and accommodating. The house was clean and the beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen has all of the convenient appliances, including a dishwasher, and everything worked well. Washing machine and electric dryer included. Utilities were efficient, not costly. WiFi worked well. The wood burning fireplace was a nice feature, very cozy. Skylights add lots of light, even on cloudy days. The grassy backyard and patio area is also a nice spot to relax. The town of Kinvarra is full of friendly people, pubs and shops and is a great home base to explore The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Galway and so many other amazing things to see in this beautiful country. We really hope to make our way back to this holiday cottage someday!

From start to finish, renting this place was wonderful. Kathy is very quick to respond to emails with any questions. I am not a frequent traveler so was relatively new to this experience. Kathy immediately made me feel at ease. The picture of the house is deceiving. It looks small, but with 5 good sized bedrooms, 2 big baths and a very open floor plan, the inside feels big and is very livable. The kitchen is newer and very functional. The condition of the house--furniture, beds etc is excellent. The house was very clean and well maintained. The location is ideal. A country setting--quiet and peaceful, and yet, just off the main road. A quick walk to grocery stores, pubs, restaurants etc. The location is perfectly central with quick rides to many of the big attractions (Cliffs of Moher), with many other attractions very close by. The town is quaint and EVERYONE was so friendly! Overall an excellent place to stay and well worth the money. I would highly recommend this place and working with Kathy. She is a dream!

Great cottage to stay in on the Galway coast, we were there for 10 days in June 2015 whilst I was working Galway, and it was lovely to be in the cottage and not in a bland hotel for once. The rest of the party had even more time that I did to enjoy the Burren and the Galway and Clare coastline, and especially the many local seafood restaurants. The cottage was comfy and WifI fast. Plus Velux window blackout blinds made long lie-ins possible, even in June, when it's light outside 20 hours a day.

This house was exactly what we needed for a group catch up. The house comfortably sleeps 8 which was perfect for our group. The living space was perfect for a group catching up as the kitchen and living space are all one big space. The house it's self was very well equipped to deal with a group and even had a lot of cooking utensils so that we were able to treat it as a home. The directions provided were excellent as the house, although just on the edge of the town, would be hard to find otherwise. Kinvara itself is a great spot for a group wanting to have a proper catch up as there are some great pubs so you don't even have to venture out of the town/village. Everywhere was within easy walking distance of the house. Couldn't recommend it more!

“Charming cottage down a lovely country lane” This house was great----it was very well equipped with everything we needed for our weeks stay. Proximity to the lovely village of Kinvara was just what we were looking for. Would happily stay here again. Traveling group: Extended Family Would you recommend this hotel to a friend? Yes.

We had a fantastic holiday in Kinvara and this deceptively spacious house, comfortably accommodated 4 adults & 4 teenagers. It suited us down to the ground as it's just a short walk to shops, restaurants and pubs and the beach is a short drive away. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped and there was plenty of space for all of us to sit down together. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone.

This is the ideal location for touring Co. Clare & and Galway. This house is very well equipped for self catering and is within 10 min walking distance to two supermarkets. Kinvara is a delightful harbour village just 25 minutes drive from Galway city. Lovely house to relax in with comfortable beds (5 bedrooms) and plenty of space. Situated on a short lane close to the main road it was a lovely quiet restful place. I would be very happy to book this house again.

Just arrived home from a delightful two week stay in Ireland! Our family of 8 enjoyed this lovely cottage right in the heart of Kinvara, a quaint fishing village. Owners were responsive and very easy to work with and the cottage was in a nice, quiet area. Having a washer/dryer, DVD player and nicely-equipped kitchen made our stay even more pleasant. Would definitely recommend!

A cottage of very high standard in a great location in the village. We were so happy to find this cottage as it was located within walking distance of the lovely town of Kinvarra. Many places say Kinvarra, but then you find that they are a few miles out. For my elderly parents it was ideal as they were able to wander down the town, and do their own thing, and the rest of us did not have to worry about driving when we were going out to the pub. Kinvara and surrounds have a lot to offer. The cottage was so beautifully presented, well-equipped, had nice garden, rooms were like hotel, everything was so tastefully done. It even has a piano! The owners provide free equipment for babies and elderly, if we wanted. They were very helpful and professional. We had a great time.

This is a beautiful cottage located within a 5 minute walk to the lovely Kinvara village. The cottage is located of the main road and offered quietness, peacefulness and privacy. It catered for all our needs and the cottage itself is very well equipped and clean. The location is excellent, for exploring all the areas of interests in Co Claire and Galway. It is a 15 minute drive to the lovely village of Ballyvaughan, a visit to the tea rooms is not to be missed! The owner of the property was very pleasant and accomodating during the booking process and during our holiday. Overall we would highly recommended this cottage for a relaxing, peaceful and exploring holiday.
