Outside there are extensive grounds surrounding the property with lawns, seating areas and an unfenced pond, as well as ample off-road parking. Glen View offers a superb base to get away from a busy lifestyle and enjoy a country break with your loved ones.

Area Dumfries is a market town and former royal burgh in south west Scotland. It is a bustling town with plenty of amenities and attractions to be enjoyed. Its location makes it ideal for exploring the coastline with its sandy beaches and rocky inlets to the Galloway Hills. Visit Caerlaverock Castle and Nature Reserve or if staying during the summer you can check out the excitement at the notable Scottish Rally.

Fuel, power and starter pack for fire/stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Large gardens with lawned areas, seating areas and an unfenced pond. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 12.7 miles. Note: There is an unfenced pond at this property, children will need to be supervised at all times. Note: No stag/hen or similar parties.
Note: The track which leads and joins the driveway to the property, this is an uneven track with the occasional potholes. There is also superficial flooding which may occur during winter months.

If you want to get away from it all this is the ideal place.. Set in a secluded forest amidst beautiful countryside Glenview delivered the perfect holiday home. Immaculately clean with spacious rooms, all of which were furnished to a high standard. Also benefitting from downstairs facilities the accomodation was ideal for my disabled parents. The only minor negative being the lack of basics such as salt, pepper, a pint of milk etc.....I.e. a small welcome pack as this cottage is approx 30 mins from Dumfries
