And closer to home, less than a mile from Beadnell Bay Beach, your apartment in this former Georgian hotel has seen the smiles on the faces of many guests over the years.

Built in elegant pale grey stone, the building has the appearance of a manor house. With hospitality in its blood, it sits upon a half-acre of lush, shared grounds for visitors to enjoy. Make the most of sunny afternoons – cucumber sandwiches on the lawn with a teapot of Earl Grey (or gin and tonic at sunset). You can also brunch in private in your enclosed garden, with a patio and dining set for entertaining.

Stepping inside this grand, Georgian abode, feast your eyes on an equally grand decor. Opulent and ornate, the drawing room is the historic heart of the home. Flowing curtains with gold trim, an original marble fireplace, and a magnificent Persian-style rug are just some of its character-filled features. There’s no better place to sip champagne than at the antique-style dining table – unless of course, you take the sleigh bed or bathtub into account.
