This cosy cottage is located in the heart of Oxwich village, just a five-minute walk from the glorious beach and sand dunes of Oxwich Bay. Not only is it superbly located, but the home is lovely, from the whitewashed exterior, to the contemporary interior, to the spacious garden.

We love the subtle coastal theme that runs through this home, creating a light, airy, and comfortable feel to the place. The modernity is balanced out by traditional touches, such as the cast iron log burner, the conservatory, and of course, the country house-style kitchen. It's a sociable space, opening up the floor to chats, board games, drinks, and so on. The conservatory leads you out to the idyllic garden – we can just picture the lovely the breakfasts spreads out in the fresh morning air, sipping on cups of tea while planning the day ahead.

When you've returned home after exploring Oxwich and the wider Gower Peninsula, you'll love relaxing on the plush sofa in front of the fireplace, a well-deserved glass of wine in hand. You could whip up dinner in the kitchen to be enjoyed around the country house-style dining table, or if you don't fancy cooking, make a reservation at the village's Michelin star restaurant for a special treat. You're on holiday, after all.
