Through to the living room, you’ll find puzzles and games under the coffee table, plus plenty of comfy seating for the odd rainy day inside. But of course, most days will be spent down soaking up the British sunshine along the seafront, with its two-mile beach, amusements, golf, museums and seaside pubs, there's just about everything needed for the quintessential coastal getaway. Walk to Whitby Beach and its historical ruined Abbey in under twenty minutes. When – weary from exploring, tired and covered in sand – you do return to your cosy digs, you'll feel all warm and hygge in no time.
