Photos on the website were flattering and somewhat misleading, giving the impression that the house was situated in lovely gardens with views of hills and fields.. In fact, views were obscured by tall trees. There was a lovely garden area to the side of the house but otherwise the house looked out on concrete car park or yard. Inside, there were many small steps and low doorways - not recommended for elderly nor tall people! Living room was very dark and furniture old and in poor condition. The sunroom was much smaller than expected and looked out on the car park. Bedrooms were lovely, very spacious with very comfortable beds.

This is an idyllic farmhouse, set in beautiful countryside.. It is spacious, warm, very comfortable and clean and has a lovely garden. It has excellent facilities - everything you could possibly need for a good holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight here. Although there are only two of us, it was a very easy house to live in - a real home. It would be equally as good for larger groups or families as the bedrooms are spread around the house so very private and there is plenty of shared living space both inside and out. This part of County Waterford is stunning with mountains, the coast and interesting places to visit all within easy driving distance. Lots to do, although we found it very relaxing to stay around the house and enjoy the garden. Miriam and Pat, the owners are very helpful and friendly but discreet. It is all just perfect!

Loved the house very clean and specious and very comfortable very quiet.. A little hard to find at first but once you have found it very easy to get to all places. Handy garage/shop to get essentials just 10 mins away and main shopping at Dungarvan about 20 mins away. Was just me, mum and my 7 yr old son Alfie. Mum had the downstairs ensuite room and I shared the family room at the other end of the house. I’d definitely recommend this place meriam the owner was very lovely came over to check we were ok. And the nice touch milk, cake tea, coffee, sugar already there for us plus towels and washing up equipment all there very handy not having to buy or bring it all. Will definitely be returning again at some point. Thank you xx Ali, Kathy, Alfie xx

Curradoon House was ideal for our family group of 10.. Beautiful rural setting. We were there for the meteor shower on 12th August and the clear sky was amazing. So clear we could see the Milkyway! It is a working farm so we saw hay being stacked and cows herded.
It is remote and everything is at least a 25 minute drive away. We toured Waterford everyday and came back in the early evenings to enjoy the comfort and chill out feel of the house.
The owners were most helpful. To experience rural Ireland at its best you could not pick a better place.

We loved staying here although the property sleeps 10 and we were just 2 it didnt feel so big we just used a few of the rooms.. I enjoyed sitting in the conservatory having tea and biscuits after a day out. The house has been renovated to a high standard and everything you need is there. We loved the comfy chairs with the foot rests and the Satellite TV. The ground floor bedroom with the en suite was fabulous with a good comfy bed. Would recommend and hope to be back one day soon. It is in a good location to visit the west Waterford area there is lots to see and do not too far away.

Our stay at Curradoon House was relaxing and very enjoyable. The owners were excellent and warm hosts. It was a relaxing place to come back to each day. A look at a working dairy farm was a high point for all of us and the owner was very generous in answering all of our questions. We would certainly go back and rate our stay as a major reason for a wonderful vacation on our first visit to Ireland.

The house itself was beautiful - comfortable and modern and with some lovely traditional touches.. There was everything you needed and Miriam and Pat were so helpful and welcoming. There was tea and coffee when we arrived after a long journey as well as barm brack, which was delicious. Pat came out to help us find our way when we arrived as the house is a little difficult to locate. Miriam and Pat popped in a couple of times to check we had everything we needed and were so warm and welcoming, answering all our questions about directions and recommendations for places to see and visit.
The facilities were excellent- good Wi-Fi and modern bathrooms and kitchen. There were only four of us, but the house was so spacious, it could have easily accommodated another 4. The beds were all comfortable and the linen was of good quality and spotlessly clean. In fact, the whole house was immaculate!
The gardens were also very well-tended and it was a pleasure to sit out on a warm morning, listening to the wildlife and enjoying the colour in the garden. We would definitely return to this cottage as it was a good base for touring the area and visiting relatives.

The property had everything one would normally want and had plenty of character and charm. The owners were very helpful. The local area was remote in a good way and was interesting from a farming point of view. It was a good location, being in reach by car to good mountain walking,
wooded valley walks, interesting coastline, beaches, places of historical interest and plenty of rivers.
