Cooley Lodge is a Beautifully converted 19th century stone building set in a courtyard that nestles where the foothills of surrounding mountains, Slieve Foy (a.k.a. Carlingford Mountain) and Sliebh Na gLoch, run down to Dundalk Bay. A short drive (or walk over the hill!) from Carlingford, Cooley Lodge is the ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Cooley Peninsula and County Louth.

Ideal self-catering accommodation for Family Parties, Groups or as a Small Conference Venue, spectacular Cooley Mountain views can be enjoyed from the Conservatory and Terrace as well as the spacious Drawing Room, with it's Balconies and Open Fire Place. Three of the four bedrooms are en suite, two of these enjoy the same mountain views through casement windows leading out to balconies. Whilst the other two open out onto enclosed south facing patios.

The accommodation consists of 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms and sleeps 23 guests.

My friends and I had an amazing time spent at Geraldine’s. The space was large and had plenty of bathrooms. The views from the balcony were amazing during the day. A great place to ring in the New Year. Geraldine was fantastic, keeping in contact throughout.

A great spot for a bigger group. Bedrooms are spacious and house is great with a good mix of spaces to sit around or go outside. Lots nearby and the house is a nice base for a few days. Thanks!

We were in Carlingford for a Hen party over two days. Cooley Lodge is perfect for a big group - the house is beautiful, with really flexible spaces, and gorgeous views. We were lucky with the weather, so having the conservatory and a bit of outside space was great. Communication from Geraldine was always very prompt and friendly, check-in was easy, and the house has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere.
