We visited the Cottage for our third time in the space of 24 months, and guess what we are on our way again at the end of February. The Cottage is well placed for beautiful walks along the nearby coast as well wonderful little beaches, dog friendly with the big city New Quay a 10 minute drive. The decor is very thoughtful and fun with very much the holiday mood to the fore. Buzz our mad but loveable cocker continually wants to explore the secure garden so much so we leave him to it. Would we recommend the cottage, as they say on Britain's Got Talent, its three big fat yes's for us!!! Enjoy.

Very disappointed in this holiday home. After reading the excellent reviews we decided to book this home particularly as it had an enclosed garden which we required as we had dogs with us. This failed to live up to what we were expecting. Within 2 minutes of being in the garden our dog had easily jumped onto the lower roof, climbed up to the higher level, slithered down and fell several feet onto the concrete by the door. He could have been seriously injured or worse. A small child could easily have done the same. Thankfully he appears to have survived without serious injury. Also there is a sheer drop further along at the back of the house which is totally unsafe for a child or dog. None of this is apparent in the promotional information and we would not have booked such an unsafe place if we had known. The wrought iron gate leading to the front door does not have a fastening and opens onto the road. Again, unsafe for a child staying there We wanted our dogs to run and have fun in the garden and indeed it is a very nice garden which is devided into different sections. However you would have to watch your dogs if you have them with you or children as they could potentially climb onto the roof or slip when in the garden as you cannot see all the different parts of the garden We were told by the owners that we were responsible for the well being of our dogs and should have been watching them but the whole point of a holiday is to relax and enjoy the time there. The house itself is very nice clean and comfortable. But please be aware of the danger to children and dogs

We had a wonderful holiday at Bryn Siloh.. Even though the weather wasnt great and we couldn't go to the beach everyday, it didn't matter at all. The whole family, including teenagers and dog, were more than happy to stay indoors and chill out. The house is extremely comfortable. It far exceeded our expectations, the pictures didn't do it justice. The beds were so comfortable we all slept liked logs. The house is spacious, relaxing and very clean. The safety measures put in place for Covid were spot on. The house has everything you could need and more. The garden is very pretty with lots of different places to sit and relax. Our dog loved it too! Nanternis is very pretty. The walk to the 'secret beach' is beautiful. New Quay is a short drive away, as are many other stunning beaches. We can't wait to return!

We were so happy to arrive at Brynsiloh and find it exactly as it was pictured! The house was so big but very comfy throughout. We loved every room - in particular the warm, cosy lounge, the bathroom and the large table in the dining room. The gardens were lovely & well kept. It was very peaceful at night time. It had everything we needed for our stay and was very easy to get to larger towns. We enjoyed a rainy day walk to The Secret Beach. We loved every minute of this holiday (2 adults, 3 young children and a puppy) and we are already planning a return.

We had an excellent holiday.. The cottage was situated in a peaceful, tranquil location without being too far from anywhere. You could easily take walks through the local area along roads/paths and fields and our dog was totally exhausted after just 2 days - a pretty hard achievement for a Springer! The cottage itself was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The owners seem to have taken time and thought when equipping and furnishing it, and there really wasn't anything to want for. The garden offers lots of little nooks to sit in and enjoy the quiet, or the stars. As an aside, it made for an excellent early Easter egg hunt (it seems children can never be too old for this!) We really did enjoy our holiday, not just for the cottage but the opportunity to explore an area that was new to us. We will definitely be back both to the area and the cottage. Thank you for a perfect holiday.

This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Very comfortable and plenty of space for everyone, including our big dog! Love the decor of this property, really pretty. The garden is also very lovely with some very pretty plants and shrubs. The walk to the cute little beach is very easy to get to if you like going 'off the beaten track' which we do!!! Also beautiful walk to New Quay from the cottage where you can watch the dolphins from the harbour wall, we were very lucky!!

Lovely cottage with a choice of garden areas to sit out and enjoy the unexpectedly mild October weather we experienced.. A good base for visiting local beaches and attractions and enjoying the stunning Welsh countryside.

The owner go above and beyond to provide everything you will need.. All we needed to take was food. The cottage is gorgeous, well maintained and clean. It is easy to access all local towns and villages, so a great base to explore West Wales.

Just got back from a great week in this beautiful cottage. It is extremely comfortable, generously proportioned and decorated with style- lots of great art on the walls! We really liked Nanternis which is a pretty hamlet just outside New Quay - away from the hustle and bustle of New Quay but close enough to pop in each day, and we enjoyed being able to walk to the coast from the cottage. It's a glorious area, with plenty to do. The cottage is also really dog friendly with a pretty contained garden. Don't be put off by the previous review - these old welsh stone cottages are a little chilly and take a while to warm up, but we were soon toasty, even over a damp Easter bank holiday.

Beautiful house, stunning location.. Beds were blissful. We shall definitely be returning. Our dog didn’t want to come home she sat on the steps and wouldn’t budge!

This cottage has to be the jewel in the crown of all the cottages we have stayed in.. The house itself was welcoming, very clean and everything you could need for a fabulous break was there. The location is perfect if you like getting out and about with lots of beaches and walks to choose from in fact we loved it so much on our last day we booked another week for next year.

This looks great and would of been had it not been from the smell of mould growing on the lounge wall behind the sofa. We had to leave early Wednesday morning and go home as my wife became ill. The whole experience was something I wouldn't want anyone else to go through. The booking agent eventually gave us some money back but took weeks of grief. I would find another place to stay if I was you.

Excellent property, everything you said about it was spot on.. Wonderful facilities and extremely comfortable. Absolutely everything was catered for. The only reason we would not go back is because we want to explore other areas throughout the U.K.
