This beach side cottage boats a privileged location on a spectacular site overlooking the sea on the edge of the Cooley Peninsula.

The cottage has been newly renovated to a very high standard and is designed to capture the sea and mountain views. It can accommodate six guests in three bedrooms - one double en-suite and two twin rooms.

Every morning guests can enjoy the blue flag sandy beach, which is a leisurely stroll from the front door of this Irish cottage.

Fishing, canoeing, sailing, cookery classes and crafts centre can all be enjoyed locally in this scenic part of Carlingford.

For some excellent holiday photos, take the time to enjoy and admire the breathtaking views on a relaxing country walk.

Carlingford is a beautiful Heritage town, so take the time to enjoy what it has to offer such as The Holy Trinity Heritage Centre, which is a beautifully restored medieval church exhibiting Carlingford's development from its Norman origins.

Visit Carlingford Castle, (King John's Castle) allegedly founded by King John who stayed here for three days in 1210. You will find an extensive range of quality restaurants serving Italian, gourmet and traditional cuisine, where you can dine in the gentle flicker of candlelight. Beachcombers Cottage is an excellent base for touring this fantastic area of County Louth.
