We love this apartment on the waterfront of Westward Ho!, which boasts wonderful sea views and a superb location.

The bedrooms are downstairs, which means the living and dining space benefit from the views. Open up the sliding glass doors that lead out to the balcony, and merge the indoor and outdoor living spaces. Begin each day on the balcony, sipping coffee and watching the waves – it’s a peaceful start to the day. Later on, you might share a bottle of wine while watching the sunset.

Even when the weather is chilly, you can enjoy the views thanks to the huge windows. Gather around the dining table with takeaway fish and chips, or curl up on the sofa for game nights. This is an excellent home-from-home for a group of friends, or a family looking for a memorable break.

It takes just ten minutes to walk to Westward Ho! beach, and you can drive to pretty Bideford in eleven minutes. With beaches and hikes to keep you occupied, and plenty of shops, cafes and pubs nearby, you’ll never be short of things to do here.
