Holiday home 7 Bell Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage in Talgarth, Powys in South Wales. It has two bedrooms including a double and a single as well as a shower room, it can sleep three people. The cottage also comes with a kitchen diner, sitting room and a snug room in the attic space up a ladder. Outside there is a nearby free public car park and a rear patio with table and chairs. 7 Bell Street is a delightful cottage in a lovely village.
Accomodation Details Over three floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x small double bed (4ft x 6ft), 1 x single. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room. Second floor snug.
Area Talgarth is a town baring a 13th century peel tower, now the village Information Centre, and a 14th century church, it was also once inhabited by Romans. The village offers gliding, pony trekking and walking opportunities through the Black Mountains. The rivers Ennig and Ellywe run through the village, it is also home to the Pwllwrach Wood, said to bare a lake where witches were drowned. Talgarth has two gastro-pubs, a cafe and shops to enjoy at your lesure. The Tabernacle venue hosts many events, the village really does cater for everybody. The popular town of Builth Wells is within easy access and is certainly worth a visit, as is Llandrindod Wells slightly further north.

Enclosed rear patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Attic space accessed via ladder therefore children under 12 not accepted.
Very good hosts, emaculatly clean, not a lot in village but very good for walkers.. Shower needs slip mat very slippery.

We were made very welcome by the owners and the Welsh cakes waiting for us were really enjoyed! The home was well equipped and well placed in a small village with shops and eating places and plenty of lovely walking in the area. Although there was no parking on site there was plenty around the area and did not cause a problem.
